2018 Report

Here are some highlights from our year.
We did a cool experiment with a laser.
Then I went on a trip across Canada to make pancakes...my parents started me off in Vancouver.
Gryphon was in a play called The Snow Queen and turned into an instant thespian.
We took a trip to the Dominican Republic,
but it went downhill when Gryphon got sucked into a pool drain.
This 10th-birthday piƱata helped him forget about it.
I started enclosing the porch to make Cheri's painting room.
Mimi and Boppa came up in April.
Alice did a second year of tee-ball,
and Gryphon and I escaped zombies on a mud run.
The kids continued learning the violin
and Gryphon participated in the district spelling bee.
I made a wooden sign for the Land Trust offices.
We made good use of the s'mores sticks in the summer,
and Laura and Al helped test the latest Ropeland configuration.
We relaxed in our hammock
and in the Elwha river.
Snuggle, Lily, and Danny are doing well.
Gryphon started 5th grade, and Alice 2nd.
They both did a season of soccer this fall.
We bought a small cabin on the Big Quilcene River.
Alice turned 8 with no front teeth.
My dad and I ran the giant slingshot event at the school's Halloween party.
Gryphon continued acting, this time as Leonardo da Vinci.
Cheri joined the symphony and is just able to squeeze in enough practice
when she's not painting.
We hope your year was happy and healthy!
