Spring

Spring has reached our yard, and Cheri and I have been planting vegetables. Below, the flowers are blooming in the front garden, and if you look closely you can see police frisking someone on the sidewalk. There's something in the air these days.

Gryphon went on the swings, slide, and teeter-totter at Kern park by our house. He wasn't overly impressed by any of them, but it was late in the day.

Back home

I got back from two days of professional development, happy to be home. Gryphon and I played some music before we all headed down to the burrito van for some dinner.


We enjoyed a peaceful evening in the cemetary.

Cheri's parents brought pizza and gifts to celebrate Gryphon's birthday this evening.

After doing some reading with Cheri, Gryphon headed outside to practice standing.


He let us know when it was time to go inside.

Gryphon's active lifestyle

Gryphon went to the pool yesterday and today, visiting with Jonah and Jude respectively. This afternoon he went to a brewery to hang out with Jameson. Afterward he did a little gardening and went for an hour-long ride in the jogging stroller. He liked it for the first 45 minutes.


The stroller was a decent find at Goodwill, but it needs a harness (soon to be installed).

Crawling!

Gryphon's been eating exotic foods like cottage cheese and corn. Following his after-dinner clean-up tonight, he performed a wobbly crawl across the floor. We had been anticipating this development, but were still excited.

Hey Jude

Jude came over to play some backgammon. He really hit it off with Bijou.

See you in a week

After saying goodbye to Nanna Jo and Dar Dar, we were back in Portland by the time Cheri's class started at 2:45.
